Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Usurp at usurp.games, run by Prakhar Murary (Murary Studios), Jaipur, Rajasthan, India ("we", "us"). By using the site or buying artwork you agree to them.
1. What Usurp is
Usurp has two parts. Crest Studio (usurp.games/crest.html) lets you design a coat of arms and buy the finished artwork as digital files. The Usurp game is an early prototype of a medieval status leaderboard. Every purchase button inside the game is a simulation and moves no money, and the other Houses and their members are fictional lore, not real users.
2. Crest Studio artwork
Designing a crest is free. When you buy, you pay once for the price shown at checkout and receive digital files of the design you made: a 4000 px PNG, a 1200 px PNG, an SVG vector file, a printable certificate of arms, a profile picture and a phone wallpaper, available to download straight after payment.
The Crest Logo Kit includes all of those files plus logo, icon, social banner and brand sheet files of the same design, delivered as one ZIP download straight after payment.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and may handle sales tax, VAT or GST on our behalf. Their terms also apply to the payment.
The artwork is original decorative work in the style of heraldry. It is not a grant of arms from any heraldic authority and does not claim descent from any family.
3. Your rights to the artwork
- Once paid, you may use your crest for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, including printing, merchandise, logos and branding.
- Other people can make similar or identical designs with the same tool, so we cannot give you exclusive rights to a design.
- Buying artwork is separate from the Usurp game. It gives no rank, title, badge or advantage there, and nothing in the game can be bought with real money.
- Do not use names, mottos or symbols that are offensive, unlawful or infringe someone else's trademark.
4. Refunds
See the Refund policy. In short, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of purchase.
5. Your conduct
Do not use offensive, impersonating or unlawful names, Decrees or brand names. We may edit or remove content, or close access, if these terms are broken.
6. Eligibility
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to make a purchase.
7. Changes and availability
Usurp is in development. Features, prices and the game rules may change. Files you have already downloaded stay yours.
8. Liability
Usurp is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before a claim.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.
